Last week we featured our Suggest a Location tool that allows customers, operators, anyone (!) to recommend a spot that may be a good spot for a food truck!
In that blog post we briefly highlighted the Hire This Truck Request tool. This week we more fully explain the Hire a Truck tool more in depth.
Unlike Suggest a Location which is used to let a food truck know about a general public space where you think they will do well (commonly known as "street service"), Hire this Truck is used when you want to hire a specific food truck or food trucks for an event, festival, birthday party, office party, block party or any other special event. The possibilities are endless!
The Hire / Request tool has been thoughtfully built to make it simple, quick and efficient for a customer to contact food trucks with their questions and requirements about their event and for the food truck(s) to respond with pertinent information with equal speed and efficiency.
And, you have the ability to contact not only a single truck but you can also contact a group of food trucks by geographic area or by food type. Any way you want to do it....a single truck, two or more trucks, by geographic area or by food type, you can get all the information you need at Hire / Request a Truck.
When you're ready for information from a specific truck, simply click on the Hire / Request button::
And, the site even helps you with decisions like helping you plan your event. For instance, if you are interested in hiring a food truck or multiple mobile food vendors for your special event, our How Many Food Trucks to Hire? - Useful Tips is a great place to start. The article will help you understand and offer advice and information on the hiring of food trucks and the proper number you will need for your event: http://www.foodtrucksin.com/blog/how-hire-food-truck-useful-tips.
As we continue to enhance our existing features and tools, and add new ones, we rely on you, who use our site, to offer feedback, thoughts and suggestions about any of our tools and links so that we may provide customers and food trucks, trailers, carts, and stands the most effective and efficient ways of finding each other.
