Asheville is one of those cities that I have heard a lot of people talk about. It just seems to come up in all sorts of conversations.  And, on Thursday morning, as I was sitting in Greenville, SC looking at my next 48 hours on the road, visiting food trucks and realized that I was going to be fortunate enough to sneak a quick visit into Asheville.

Just, the previous day I had been in Atlanta and felt as if  I really needed more time there than I had scheduled to visit all of the area's well reputed trucks.  I was now concerned that it would be a four hour drive for me to get to and from Asheville, and that maybe that would leave me short on time. But I am so glad I did get to Asheville!  And, at that, Asheville most certainly deserved more time. But even the short visit was the perfect balance of all that food trucks have to offer. I was able to visit a food truck lot and chat with four trucks that were starting their lunch service. Followed that by a stop at a truck set up at a CrossFit facility, a stop at a food truck on the property of an ice cream shop (to which they were planning to expand), and finally at a grilled cheese trailer serving at an office park with few lunch options nearby.

All in all, I got to meet with 7 Asheville trucks in four hours and was able to talk with each of the owners about their businesses and explain what we are doing at FoodTrucksIn.com.  Of course I got to try their delicious food as well.

At www.FoodTrucksIn.com we are committed to being the best source for food trucks and food truck customers to find each other by providing locations of food trucks and information about the food truck community. As part of that commitment, we have developed tools and features for food trucks to use to promote and grow their business, and we visit as many cities as we can to meet as many operators and customers as we can. We are dedicated to the food truck industry and their customers. And, bringing them together.

Now, every time we complete one of our road/food truck trips, having met many wonderful food truckers, eaten an enormous amount of their great food and met so many interesting local people, we will post the trucks that we've had the pleasure to see, being grateful for that opportunity yet regretting the food trucks and people that we have missed!

Here is the list of trucks that I was able to meet in person and was fortunate enough to try their food.
