Information about The Food Truck Friday weekly event in Charlotte has been posted on FoodTrucksIn.com for quite some time, and it had caught my attention from the beginning. And, now, the plan to get there worked out!. This was the week!  Actually, I planned this entire week of visiting food trucks around starting at Food Trucks at Arts Park in Hollywood, FL and ending with Food Truck Friday in Charlotte, NC!

But, in fact, The Charlotte visit was actually delayed by a few hours when I took advantage of stopping in Greenville, SC. How could I pass through a city and not stop to check out  a food truck that has been “Checked In” using FoodTrucksIn.com for quite awhile now? Read about that in the list of trucks  below! And, alhtough, stopping in Greenville delayed my arrival into Charlotte, it was well worth it. I was able to spend some time with one of the really good food trucks in Greenville and picked up a lot information, and some gossip, about the local food culture in doing so.

Then onto Charlotte: My first stop was at the Johnson & Wales University (my alma mater!) campus where they were holding an event for students on entrepreneurship . I was not surprised at all to see a food truck parked right outside of the entrance; a wonderful example of just that! A great way start to my Charlotte visit!

And, during my day and a half in Charlotte I visited food trucks on a college campus, outside a micro-brew pubs, at a residential condo complex, and at a great evening event on an undeveloped lot.  Great examples of how food trucks add to the fabric of a community.

Oh, and did I mention the side trip from Charlotte when I decided to travel the two hours to Asheville, NC for a lunch time stop?

At www.FoodTrucksIn.com we are committed to being the best source for food trucks and food truck customers to find each other by providing locations of food trucks and information about the food truck community. As part of that commitment, we have developed tools and features for food trucks to use to promote and grow their business, and we visit as many cities as we can to meet as many operators and customers as we can. We are dedicated to the food truck industry and their customers. And, bringing them together.

Now, every time we complete one of our road/food truck trips, having met many wonderful food truckers, eaten an enormous amount of their great food and met so many interesting local people, we will post the trucks that we've had the pleasure to see, being grateful for that opportunity yet regretting the food trucks and people that we have missed!

Here is the list of trucks that I was able to meet in person and was fortunate enough to try their food.
