On 10-16-14 we made our second visit to Utah and first visit to Provo, UT. Earlier this year I did spend a couple of days in Salt Lake City and met a number of great trucks and learned a lot about the city.  You can read more about it here. It was great to re-coneect with some of those food trucks owners during this trip and also meet a number of new operators. I was also able to spend some time with Jeremy and Alex from the Foodtruck Underground and attend one of their evening events. They are working hard to bring the SLC area food trucks to new areas of towns and locations.

I was excited to get to Provo for the first time. I knew there were a number of mobile food vendors that served the area including Special CoursesI was particularly looking forward to meet James, the owner. Just a few days before our arrival into Utah, James became one of the very first food trucks in the country to test and put our website widget on his website. Our website widgets are designed and are built to make it easier for food trucks to broadcast their location and schedule on their own website. I knew that meeting James in person and getting feedback about the widget was going to be a valuable part of the stop in Provo.

Provo ended up being the most surprising city visit to date (in a totally exciting way)!  It turns out that every Thurdsay night in Provo there is a Provo Food Truck Roundup with 15-20 mobile food vendors. When I arrived in Utah I had no idea how many food trucks served the Provo area and did not expect to meet so many of them at a single location.

Here is the list of those that I was able to meet for the first time in person during during my time in Salt Lake City and Provo :

At we are committed to being the best source for food trucks and food truck customers to find each other by providing locations of food trucks and information about the food truck community. As part of that commitment, we have developed tools and features for food trucks to use to promote and grow their business, and we visit as many cities as we can to meet as many operators and customers as we can. We are dedicated to the food truck industry and their customers. And, bringing them together.

Now, every time we complete one of our road/food truck trips, having met many wonderful food truckers, eaten an enormous amount of their great food and met so many interesting local people, we will post the trucks that we've had the pleasure to see, being grateful for that opportunity yet regretting the food trucks and people that we have missed!
