We're heading to San Antonio for the 2014 Roam Mobile Food Conference!

On November 8th and 9th, San Antonio hosts the Second Annual Roam Mobile Food Conference and FoodTrucksIn.com will be right there!
.
Ah, but what is the Roam Mobile Food Conference? It's quite a show!

It's a one and a half day conference that's designed to educate, inspire, inform, and create engagement opportunities for both owners and entrepreneurs and brings together food truck owners, culinary students, government officials, advocates and industry suppliers, as well as those looking at becoming a part of the industry, to focus on a variety of topics related to the mobile food industry.

The 2014 Roam program will feature a collaborative platform to work through challenges and key issues such as advocacy, marketing, business planning and expanding a brand as well as some hands-on sessions like 'Steppin' up your Culinary Skillz" and I am looking forward to my presentation, "Strategic Marketing: The Next Step"

There's also be a small trade show which is open to the public and offers products, ideas and items from suppliers and other businesses that serve the mobile food truck industry.

I'm very excited to get to spend some time with such a dedicated group of vendors, mobile food business owners, and those interested in the mobile food industry.

Spending the weekend in San Antonio with a group of passionate business owners and vendors is sure to be great fun while, at the same time, being a valuable learning and sharing opportunity. I hope you'll consider joining me! And just in case you haven't quite made up your mind to attend (or even considered it until now!), here are drive times to San Antonio from some of the other cities I'll be visiting on my own Food Truck Road Trip at the conclusion of the Roam Conference. After San Antonio, I have brief stops planned in Austin, Houston, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Jackson, Memphis, and Nashville before returning home to Providence.
