The creative force behind Anabel's Mobile Kitchen was then 6-year-old Anabel Washington. For months she had been creating menus and price lists and imploring her parents, Tameeka and Arthur, to open a restaurant. Anabel didn't have to do too much persuading because her father, a foodie, had been dreaming of opening up his own restaurant for years. The couple recruited Anabel's grandfather, another foodie, and her uncle, a trained chef to round out the team.
Anabel's will serve up hearty multi-ethnic food at a reasonable price. Using seasonal locally grown ingredients when possible, the savory dishes are something you won't want to miss.
