What do Chimney Cakes and the vampire Dracula have in common? Both are from Transylvania! The region in the heart of Romania, Transylvania, is where the Chimney Cake (Kürtőskalács) originated. This is also the place where my husband and I grew up. Now, we would like to share with you our childhood memories by introducing this very unique oven baked pastry.
